Effects

Nolvadex on its own really doesn’t produce much of a effect but when added to a steroid cycle you could prevent the more serious negative side effects that can occur as a result of heavy steroid use. Steroids that regularly aromatize or cause strong aromatization will cause negative side effects and with the help of Nolvadex in a cycle you can enjoy all of the benefits of steroids without the chances of serious side effects.

Nolvadex works as an aromatase inhibitor meaning that it actually stops the estrogen from binding to your receptors. Although you might still have estrogen that’s converted from the excess testosterone in your body it’s possible that negative side effects can be rescinded because the receptors simply don’t accept the estrogen.

Doses

The average dose for Nolvadex usually ranges around 10-20 mg per day. It’s not often that doses will exceed this value and this seems to be perfectly acceptable for combatting any serious issues with steroid related side effects.

For PCT quite often athletes will take anywhere between 20 to 40 mg per day to try and spur their body into producing quality natural testosterone once again. Men will sometimes also taper off their PCT doses into just 20 mg doses towards the end to ensure that their bodies can continue to produce natural testosterone without ramping up production of estrogen levels which can damage progress and cause water retention.

Cycles

Most PCT programs with Nolvadex will last around four weeks to six weeks. This will ensure that the body has fully recovered and is able to produce natural testosterone again

For any regular steroid cycle you will need to be sure to use Nolvadex throughout the duration of your cycle. There’s no need to ramp up Nolvadex before you start introducing steroids but you need to be sure that you have a consistent dose with each of your steroid injections. Administering doses at least once a day or every other day is usually the best plan for Nolvadex to counteract any serious side effects.
